Political Advocacy and New Legislation
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” MARGARET MEAD
IASN encourages all school nurses to learn about political advocacy and become involved in the decision-making process regarding student health issues in Indiana. For IASN to be effective in addressing legislative issues that impact school nursing and student health and safety, individual members must be willing to get involved and contact their legislators.
